Perhaps you have found yourself at a dead end road. It could be that you can't make ends meet, or maybe health is an issue, or maybe you just don't understand why you lost a loved one. There are many things in life that bring us to this point where we know we don't have all the answers, and seek The One that does: God!
There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24)
His Name is Jesus!
Perhaps you are seeking The Peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Phillipians 4:7)
How to Get Saved:
Understand The Fall
If you start reading The Bible, you will learn that God created a Man and a Woman after He created The Earth. Everything was perfect. God had put them in a beautiful Garden. God said that they could eat of the fruit on any and all tress with the exception of only one tree. Everything was good until one day Satan, The Devil came to Eve disguised as a serpent (Snake) and tempted Eve, and she ate of the forbidden tree and convinced Adam to do the very same thing. That was when man became sinners (Breaking God's Laws)
God gave us 10 Commandments, which were the very most important Laws that God gave to man. Breaking other laws are also called sin. Once you have broken one of the commandments even once, then we are a sinner. Time does not erase the fact that we are a sinner and are enemies with God. Understand that all are guilty
Romans 3:23 says All have sinned and come short of The Glory of God.
Here are some of the 10 commandments so that you will see we are sinners:
Thou Shalt Not Steal: This includes downloading music and not paying for it. Maybe you have a copy of Microsoft Office that you did not pay for and borrowed the disk from a friend or relative. Maybe you take an hour for lunch when you are only permitted 30 minutes. That's stealing your bosses time.
Thou Shalt Not Take The Name of The LORD in Vain: This includes saying the G.D. Word, or can be by saying OMG, or any vain use of The LORD's Name.
Honor Your Mother and Your Father: Did we obey our parents and treat them with respect 100% of the time?
Thou Shalt Not commit Adultery: Have you ever had sexual relations with someone other than your own spouse? This also goes into more depth as Jesus says if you even look at another with lust, that you've commited adultery in your heart.
You see, we are all guilty and are an enemy with God, and are Hell Bound.
While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Christ died for the ungodly!! Yes God went out of His way to make you right with Him. Why? Cause He does not accept any payment from man to pay for those sins. Being good never takes away sins. Only God's perfect Lamb was worthy enough to pay that debt!
The Good News is that Christ came to Earth, was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was beaten and put to death on a cross. He was placed in a tomb, but on the third day He rose again. He died to be your saviour, but rose to be your Lord!
Salvation is a Free Gift from God. We don't deserve it, but He is a Merciful and Loving God.
Requirements to be saved: You must Humble Yourself like a Child, calling upon The Name of The LORD Jesus Christ, Repent, which means confess to God that you are a sinner in need of His Mercy. With Your mouth proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord, and believe that God raised Christ from the dead on the third day (Romans 10:9).
Realize that you are saved by Grace through Faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) It is a FREE Gift of God so that no one can boast!!
2 Corinthians 5:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
